Know your Northern Ireland Case studies really well and the general context of these. Consider the questions

What was the significance of.........
What events lead to....

When studying the other topics, consider the bigger picture/ themes of the case studies in the Topic: eg The Moon landing - theme the Space Race, Vietnam War - theme American Foreign Policy..

Exam Hints

Read the exam paper carefully. Underline key words in the question and in the documents.
Plan your answer.
Focus on the question.
Check your Time regularly.
Pack in as many key points, one per short key paragraph.

April 30th, was the 35th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon and Tuesday, May 4th, was the 40th anniversary of the shooting of protesting students at Kent State University, USA.
